From fire-breathing four-wheelers to ten-cylinder station wagons to lightning-fast electric GTs – all the best!

Audi Sport is celebrating its fortieth anniversary, founded in 1983 as quattro GmbH. The Audi Quattro was introduced as early as 1980. Over the years, it has been responsible for sports models and factory tuning, as well as for motorsport, the traditional designation RS refers to the German term RennSport – i.e. racing sport.

A special event will take place at the Audi Sport base in Neckarsulm on October 14. It will allow the public to look under the hood of local activities, and will also be connected with the exhibition “40 years of Audi Sport GmbH,” which has been running for about a month.

Here, fans will be able to view the greatest attractions from the forty-year history of the sports division – for example the special Audi S1 ​​e-tron quattro Hoonitron – and meet racing drivers working under Audi. On a tour of the factory, they will also find out how the current Audi RS e-tron GT or R8 is created.

However, Audi Sport does not only make sports cars and unique concepts. In addition to RS models, he is also in charge of modifications under Audi exclusive and Audi Sport equipment, lifestyle accessories Audi collection and motorsport in factory and customer form.
