If you’re a Fitbit user, you’ve probably registered application problems. Users have noticed the first problems at Wednesday evening. “We are aware that some customers are experiencing issues with the Fitbit app and we are currently investigating,” Fitbit wrote in a message on X. “We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience!” In response to a question from one upset user on the estimated time of the Fitbit app fix, the company said that “at this time cannot provide any time frame“. There was also a large banner on Fitbit’s community page that read: “We are continuing to investigate an issue involving Fitbit devices. Thank you for your patience.”

A number of reports appeared in other media and on X where users discussed the outages. Android Authority stated that in the application se they do not load data and a message is displayed on the Coach tab “Content not available”. 9to5Google also reported that in the app they don’t see the stats. A reader of the Verge server wrote that he failed to activate Charge 6 devicewhich is an action that must be performed directly within the application.

Downdetector has reported problems with this application more than 3,000 people. The reports started to pile up around 5pm CET. The app should now have work again. These problems followed two major outages in February, which is not a good sign of reliability for the company.
