On the occasion of the Feast of the Flemish Community, a collective day of leave has been arranged for all services of the local government (read: all city and OCMW services, with the exception of the WZC Egmont), according to the official statement.
This means that on Monday 11 July the Social House and LDC Egmont on the OCMW site will be closed as well as the technical service and the urban warehouse on Ballingsweg, the Administrative Center Sanitaryof city library at the Buke 44 (new location) and the tourist information office, the Uitbalie and the Center for Regional History in the town hall on the market. In contrast to previous years, the urban swimming pool Bevegemse Vijvers are also not accessible (following the four-day closure, from Thursday 7 July, following Rock Zottegem). On the other hand, on the holiday of the Flemish Community, children can go to Hemelrijk for the playground activities. Should we add that, in addition to the recycling park on Ballingsweg, which is always closed on Mondays, all other Ilva-recyclingparking remain closed on 11 July.
