The OLVC Campus Center in Zottegem is one of the 35 winning European schools of the TES-Award (The Entrepreneurial Schools Award) presented by JA Europe, Junior Achievement Europe. It is a European recognition for schools that record entrepreneurship in their vision and apply it in all directions and at every level in the school.
Two teachers have been invited to participate in the Gen-E 2022 European Entrepreneurship Event in Tallinn, Estonia, which will take place in July. Virginie Debilde, French teacher and language coach, and Els Degroote, business economics teacher, will travel to Estonia to receive the prize. A workshop for teachers will also be linked to this, and teachers will be able to make contact with each other from the different schools spread across Europe. Hopefully a collaboration can be started with a school from another European country. This will take entrepreneurship within our school to a higher level. The students will be able to develop even more languages, self-direction, daring and creativity.
