Moerbeke. Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA) invests € 47,559 in the Free Primary School Sint-Catharinacollege in Moerbeke, Geraardsbergen. “An investment in school construction is an investment in our educational quality. And therefore in our own future”, says Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts.
Education Minister Ben Weyts will invest a total of 3 billion euros in school construction projects during this term of office. That is another 500 million euros more than in the previous term of office. All this financial support can be put to good use by school boards for construction or renovation works. This investment wave also benefits Geraardsbergen.
Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA) is thus investing € 47,559 through the Agency for Infrastructure in Education (AGION) in the Free Primary School Sint-Catharinacollege in Moerbeke, located on Willem Van Moerbekestraat. In concrete terms, this involves replacing exterior joinery, renewing roofing and insulating, and installing a new condensation gas floor boiler.
“The local N-VA is delighted with the subsidies that the school has received. Investing in high-quality education in our city is the start of a good future for our school-age youth,” reports Ilse Roggeman, councilor.
