Cisco Hearty Trio, with Tom De Wulf
Cisco Herzhaft is a French blues guitarist-singer, born in 1947 and from Bordeaux. He plays blues, ragtime and boogie woogie and is a specialist in slide and fingerpicking guitar. Tom De Wulf is a Ghent drummer with a lot of experience and who is at home in various styles. The two musicians saw each other at work in Tournai and decided to join forces as a duo to perform in Belgium. And for this occasion they even invite(d)en a special guest who is always ‘In the Mood’ for a portion of genuine old-fashioned Scheldt and Lys blues.
Show moment The Scheldt Offensive at 19:30
After their summer tour with the enthusiastically received ‘Brutaal Frontaal’ that brought them to the stages of various summer festivals, Het Scheldeoffensief is setting up its inclusive tents on the Moortseel Heritage Site this week (15-18 August).
The Scheldt Offensive, founded in 2017 by Frank Dierens and An Van den Bergh, aims to track down, challenge and show the enthusiasm and talent for theater among people with disabilities in the Ghent region. With a three-year participation project, they created a space between art and care, an open space where you can experiment with theater and of which people with disabilities are co-owners.
The studio week of Het Scheldeoffensief will be concluded on the park concert evening at 19:30 with a presentation in the Moortseel rectory garden. Be welcome!
