Philimoncello, the winner of the 2nd edition of the “Win your pop-up shop”, opens on 1
September opens its doors in Ninia Shopping Center.
In the spring, Ninia went in search of ambitious entrepreneurs with the dream of opening their own business with the 2nd edition of the “Win Your Pop-up Store” competition. Out of all participants Philimoncello emerged as the winner.
Philimoncello’s limoncello is a 100% natural product: homemade based on unsprayed lemons from Italy, without preservatives and without flavourings.
Philip Claeys says: “After 10 years of making limoncello for family and friends (and
for my own use) I have decided to commercialize this. There was increasing demand for my limoncello, so gradually I started distributing it to local stores as well. I decided to turn my hobby into an independent secondary profession. Then I saw the match on the internet and I grabbed my chance. Ninia Shopping is the perfect location to let a wider audience taste my products. In addition to the limoncello, I will also offer original gift packaging.”
Hera Genbrugge, Shopping Manager for AG Real Estate, owner of Ninia Shopping Center: “From September 1 to December 31, Philimoncello will be able to occupy a 115 m² building. In this way, our customers are introduced to a delicious local product. Philip Claeys will be able to test his concept for 4 months. Of course, we hope for a positive response from our customers and, who knows, maybe this is the start of a longer-term collaboration.”
