Geraardsbergen. Mental Health Week is planned from 1 to 10 October. This week focuses on mental health and resilience. “Mental health is a theme that we as a city focus on. The two psychologists employed are just one example of this. We also want to make the theme more negotiable and do this by organizing the week of mental health. We are now doing this for the tenth time,” said Alderman for Social Affairs and Welfare David Larmuseau. “We have chosen to highlight different facets such as psychosis and dementia. In addition, we will also focus on young people.” Geraardsbergen can now also call itself a Warm City, which means that there is an active focus on mental health. The performance Nervous Women is scheduled for October 5 (with Clara Cleymans and Inge Paulussen), the free film screening The Father will be shown on October 10 and on October 13 you can visit De Spiraal for the lecture about addiction. Finally, there will be a workshop on healthy nutrition on 15 October.
