On the occasion of the fourth edition of the Car Free Sunday, King Auto on Sunday 18 September make way in the city center for numerous sporting, cultural and culinary activities. You can read the full program in an earlier NUUS article via this link.
To this end, dozens of streets in the zone between the railway and Meerlaan/Wolvenstraat/Weidestraat/Beislovenstraat/Bruggenhoek will a parking ban from 10 a.m apply as well as to the following car parks located within this zone: car park Meersstraat (back of Egmont Park), car park Nijverheidsstraat, car park Vestenstraat, car park Administrative Center Sanitary and car park Molenstraat. From 12 pm that zone will be completely car-free and no traffic will be allowed there. The following car parks will be available: De Muze (Beislovenstraat), OCMW (Deinsbekestraat), Ledebergstraat, Lyceumstraat, H. Hartplein, D. Van Den Bosschestraat and Bevegemse Vijvers. The bus station will be set up that day at the back of the train station in Broeder Mareslaan. The AZ Sint-Elisabeth will be accessible from Broeder Mareslaan and Godveerdegemstraat.
