On Thursday, the 34th school cross-country race was held on the grounds of KVV Windeke for all primary schools from Oosterzele. It was organized by the sports council with the support of the technical team of the GC De Kluize.
The starting signal for a year of exciting school sports. From kindergarten to the last year of primary education. Just like last year, this year too the emphasis is on experiencing fun and organizing alternative forms of running, instead of a traditional cross-country run.
The ‘Flemish running weeks for schools’ are an initiative of MOEV and Sport Vlaanderen in close collaboration with the municipal sports services, Network Local Sports Policy and the VAL. With the support of the sponsor Schoenen Torfs and the Association of Belgian Horticultural Cooperatives (VBT) provide support.
