In the coming week, from Monday 3 to Friday 7 October, the NMBS will have maintenance work carried out on the greenery around the free shuttle car park on Lyceumstraat/Broeder Mareslaan. In order for this to take place safely, the outer parking spaces will have to be kept free.
It will still be possible to use the centrally located parking spaces. Commuters can also leave their car at the two nearby free car parks in Deinsbekestraat. In addition to the previously existing car park along the railway embankment, part of the OCMW car park was also made free (instead of the blue zone). There are currently already parking prohibition signs in the NMBS car park at the back of the station to indicate where the parking spaces must be kept free next week for the implementation of greenery maintenance. Wagons that are still parked there at the start of the works will (have to) have them towed.
