With a farewell celebration on Sunday 9 October (more about this in a subsequent NUUS article), EH Hans Vandenholen will soon end thirty years of pastoral work in Zottegem, of which twelve years as pastor-dean. After all, as reported at the time, on 11 July he was appointed pastor-dean of Aalst by the Ghent bishop Lode Van Hecke. That’s where his appointment takes place on Sunday 23 October at 3 p.m. in St. Martin’s Church.
A bus will be put in for those who want to attend this ceremony – with a reception following the Eucharistic celebration. Booking a seat costs 10 euros per person and can happen in the deanal secretariat until Wednesday 12 October at the latest by e-mail to [email protected]. Payment of the registration fee (by transfer to account number BE46 7785 9304 6436 of ‘Pastoral operation parish Zottegem’, stating the names of the fellow travelers) should only be made after confirmation from the dean’s secretariat and after payment the registration is final. The bus leaves at 1.30 pm sharp at the church on the H. Hartplein in Bevegem; the return is planned around 7 pm.
