Anja and Patriek are searching for every Belgian who died in the REIMAHG in Kahla in 1944-45. To erect a memorial wall in REIMAHG with the photos and prayer cards.
The annual commemorations in April for all victims of the REIMAHG that the camps around Kahla by the 89ste US Army Infantry Division were liberated.
The camps around Kahla were one of the many places where forced laborers were used. (There were more than 28 camps, scattered around the Walpersberg) There the Belgians, in addition to some 10,000 forced laborers from all over Europe, had to build an immense underground factory for the mass production of the Me 262, the world’s first operational jet fighter.

Testimony from SAELENS Willy: “My comrade Gaston Van De Velde from Balegem, he himself told me in the clinic, had been ill for about a week in the Lager. also taken as a sick person to the same clinic and in the same room next to him.
