Reveil 22 wants to breathe new life into traditions around 1 November with art and heritage. With music, poetry and local life stories of dearly departed, warmth and comfort are offered in a serene way. In addition, the cultural heritage in the cemeteries and commemorative rituals are highlighted. In this way, the Reveilmoment is a tribute to the roots of our community.
On Tuesday, November 1, 2022 between 4 and 6 pm, the Working Group on Open Monuments will organize Reveil 2022 in collaboration with the History and History Circle Triverius Reveil 2022. If the weather permits, candles will create an adapted atmosphere. Between 4 and 5 pm guides are available to explain a number of remarkable graves. At 5 p.m., a modest moment of atmosphere starts around the chapel in the cemetery. Lyna De Leener brings atmospheric poetry and reflection texts and Paul Detrémerie and Johan Mertens of the KH De Eendracht bring adapted music.
