On Saturday October 29 An appointment is made by the local Party Committee Leeuwergem for the 17th edition of the annual Halloween happening in this Zottegem district.
As usual, a child-friendly walking route has once again been mapped out with adapted animation along the way and a number of stands where the participants are allowed to dress up! – refreshments will be offered. For the horror walk of about 5 km one can leave freely between 6 and 8 pm at the municipal OC Leeuwergem. After returning there, there is an opportunity to have a nice chat in the meeting center over a drink and/or a snack. For the children (up to 12 years old) there are many prizes to be won with the traditional candy throw which will take place around 10 p.m.
Participation tickets cost in advance – for organizational reasons it is desirable to use this – 5 euros per person (on the evening itself at the box office 6 euros; children under 12 years free). You can also register via https://bit.ly/3D1UPti.
Traffic measure – As a result of this Halloween happening, there will be a parking ban on Sint-Eligiusplein on Saturday 29 October from 5 pm to 1 am and no traffic will be allowed. The access to this square at the church will be closed at Gentsesteenweg and at Bosstraat.
