Of course, on the occasion of the commemoration day of the Armistice at the end of World War I, all local government services (read: all city and OCMW services, with the exception of the Egmont WZC) will of course remain closed on Friday 11 November. In the context of this extended weekend, the civil affairs department, which normally works on Saturday mornings, will not open on 12 November either. If you want to go to one of the OCMW or city services (incl. library and swimming pool), you should also take into account that King’s Day, on Tuesday 15 November, is also a day off for government services.
SWIMMING POOL BEVEGEMSE PONDS
As usual on a legal holiday one will be in the swimming pool Movement Ponds cannot go on Armistice Day 11 November and therefore also not on King’s Day 15 November. In addition, the swimming pool will also be closed four times in the second half of this month of November due to swimming competitions. This will be the case on Sunday 20 November ‘(‘s afternoon closed) as well as on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 November (all day long). On Wednesday 30 November, the swimming pool will not be open to the general public until 5 pm (until 8 pm as normal) due to pre-swimming competitions for local primary school students.
