From 21 to 25 November, we would like to honor our fellow waste collectors and recycling park rangers, says Alderman for the Environment Peter Vanderstuyf. “Each day, through wind and weather, the waste collector and the recycling park ranger are ready to help you get rid of your waste. One comes by to collect your waste bag, the other is happy to help you sort your waste at the recycling park. The park rangers at our Brakel recycling park will also help you with advice and assistance in sorting your waste correctly. In addition, in Brakel, unlike many other municipalities and cities, visits to the recycling park are still free (15 visits), except for bulky waste. At many other recycling parks, people sometimes pay not only per fraction, but also per weight. This is not the case in Brakel, so it is better to take your waste “free” to our recycling park than to just dump it in nature. After all, no one benefits from that!!”
On this occasion, a soup was offered by the ships to the personnel of the container park.
