He said that on Tuesday he returns to training, after in the last few days he participated in the National Swimming Championship in the 50 m pool for seniors, youth and juniors, at the Otopeni Swimming Sports Complex.
David Popovici won the 100-meter freestyle with a time of 47.61 seconds and thus managed to meet the qualification criteria for the Olympic Games in Paris, announced the Romanian Swimming Federation.
At the National Championship, David Popovici won six gold medals in the 100m butterfly, 400m freestyle, 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 100m backstroke and 50m butterfly.
