The Dinamo Swimming Academy announced on Monday that the National Swimming Championship has ended, and the club has recorded “excellent” results through its representatives.
The most valuable athletes from the National team are Daria Măriuca Silişteanu and David Popovici.
The two received trophies for the best performances recorded at the National Championship in Otopeni: David Popovici for the result of the 100 m freestyle (953p), and Daria with the result of the 50 m backstroke (824p).
Thus, Daria Silişteanu occupied the 1st place in all three age categories: seniors, youth, juniors. 2nd place was occupied (also in all 3 categories) by Aissia Claudia Prisecariu (CS Dinamo) – 807p (200m backstroke).
CS Dinamo won 83 medals at the Nationals: 32 gold, 27 silver and 24 bronze. David Popovici won six titles (all the individual events in which he started) and achieved an Olympic standard (100 m free / 47.61). Daria Măriuca Silişteanu won 12 gold medals. Also, CS Dinamo athletes set 15 national records in the Otopeni competition.
