The Ukrainians announce that in the last 24 hours they have repelled dozens of Russian attacks carried out in different areas of eastern Ukraine, according to CNN.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced on Monday evening that its main objective is to repel Russian forces in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivak and Marinka, in the east of the country.
The military also said that more than 20 attacks were repelled in the last 24 hours in these areas.
Russia launched 21 airstrikes and five missile attacks on Ukraine. Four attacks targeted the Kramatorsk area.
The Russians have also increased the number of checkpoints and patrols in the occupied areas, the Ukrainians said.
