Considering the current hydro-meteorological situation and the weather forecast for the next 48 hours, as a result of the forecasted precipitation, yielding of water from the snow cover and spreading, there may be significant runoff on slopes, torrents and streams, flash floods on small rivers with possible effects of local floods and increases in flows and levels on some rivers in the mentioned hydrographic basins, with possible exceedances of the attention quotas on several rivers.
Thus, INHGA issued a yellow code warning that comes into effect on Monday, at 18:00, on the rivers in the hydrographic basins: Jijia – upstream basin SH Todireni and the tributaries related to the downstream sector SH Todireni (Botoşani and Iaşi counties).
Another yellow code warning will enter into force on Tuesday, at 09:00, on the rivers in the hydrographic basins: the rivers of Dobrogea (Tulcea and Constanţa counties).
