The Mehedinţi County Police Inspectorate was notified by a woman from Vânători commune, regarding the fact that a man killed a feline specimen.
“The policemen of the Bureau for Animal Protection went to the scene together with the policemen of the Cujmir Rural Police Section, and checks were carried out under the coordination of the prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Vânju Mare Court. Following the checks carried out, it was found that a 41-year-old man allegedly killed, with intention, a feline specimen in the yard of his residence”, reports the Mehedinti Police.
The man was detained for 24 hours, and on Tuesday he was presented to the Vânju Mare Court, which admitted the preventive arrest for 30 days.
The investigations continue under the aspect of committing the crime of killing animals, with intent, without right, in the criminal file under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Vânju Mare Court.
