The President of the NATO Military Committee in Romania, Admiral Rob Bauer, will have a meeting on Wednesday with the Minister of Defense, Angel Tîlvăr, and the Chief of the Defense Staff, General Daniel Petrescu, during a visit he is making to Romania.

The President of the NATO Military Committee in Romania is coming to Romania
According to a press release from the MApN, the officials will discuss the security situation in the Black Sea region, the dynamics of the implementation of allied measures to deter and defend the Euro-Atlantic space, NATO operations and missions, as well as major training events this year.
The meeting will take place on Wednesday at the MApN headquarters, as part of a visit that the president of the NATO Military Committee is making to Romania between April 11-14.
The President of the Military Committee is the main military adviser to the Secretary General of NATO and the main communicator of the Alliance in military issues.
NATO’s Military Committee, made up of defense chiefs from the allied states, has the role of providing recommendations to the North Atlantic Council on ways in which NATO can respond to global security challenges.
