According to the Bistriţa-Năsăud Police, the police officers from the Prundu Bârgăului Rural Police Section 2 were alerted on Tuesday evening about the occurrence of a physical assault on a 46-year-old man from Bistriţa Bârgăului.
As a result of the assault, the victim died.
Suspected of committing the act is a 50-year-old man from the same locality.
Following the administered evidence, the prosecutor from the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bistrita-Năsăud Court took the measure of detaining for 24 hours the man suspected of committing the crime of murder.
The aggressor was taken to the Detention and Preventive Arrest Center of the Bistriţa-Năsăud County Police Inspectorate, to be presented, on Wednesday, to the Bistriţa-Năsăud Court, with a proposal for preventive arrest.
The investigations are carried out by the police officers of the Criminal Investigation Service, as part of a criminal file drawn up regarding the crime of murder.
