The policemen from Coşoveni, Dolj county, were alerted, on Saturday, that a man was injured during the slaughter of a lamb at a barn in Bratovoeşti commune.
Basically, a 49-year-old man from the town of Georocu Mare, while slaughtering a lamb, would have accidentally hit a 45-year-old man from the same town with a knife in the chest area.
The 45-year-old man was taken to hospital, where he died.
Several people were identified at the scene, including family members of the deceased man, who confirmed to the police that they had no intention of causing the injuries, Dolj Police informed.
A criminal case was filed for manslaughter.
