The President of Romania, Klaus Iohannis, sent, on Saturday, a message for the Orthodox, Greek-Catholic, Armenian and neo-Protestant believers who celebrate Easter this weekend.

“The Lord’s resurrection brings us together to enjoy the triumph of faith over death and suffering. In these moments of intense spiritual joy, I send wishes for health, peace and prosperity to all Romanian Orthodox, Greek Catholics, Armenians and Neo-Protestants, in the country or in the diaspora communities”, says Klaus Iohannis, in his Easter message.
The President also says that the Easter celebration must inspire us to be, with a good thought and a gesture of solidarity, closer to our fellow men in suffering, hit by war or misfortune, affected by the loss of loved ones or the burden of loneliness.
“Guided by the light of Christ’s love, let us give understanding, compassion and support to all those who need our help. May the Holy Easter strengthen us in faith and hope, guide us further with the light of the Lord’s Resurrection, towards the fulfillment of the common good”, the message also states.
