According to the Romanian Weightlifting Federation, Andreea Cotruţa won three gold medals on the second day of competition at the European Weightlifting Championship in Yerevan, Armenia.
The athlete from Romania finished her evolution at the European Championships in Armenia with 91 Kg, in the snatch style, 110 Kg, in the throw style and 201 Kg, in total.
Romania has 11 medals at the European Weightlifting Championship, after two days of competition: six gold medals (Mihaela Cambei in cat. 49 kg – 3 medals) and Andreea Cotruţa (55 kg – 3 medals), three silver medals (two won by Cosmina Feather, cat. 45 kg (torn and total) and one by Valentin Iancu in cat. 55 kg (thrown). Romania also has two bronze medals: Iancu in cat. 55 kg (torn and total).
