In the last 24 hours, the police intervened in over 2,500 reports from citizens and issued over 3,700 fines.
On Sunday, over 9,500 police officers acted, at the national level, to prevent antisocial acts and maintain public order and safety. 246 actions were organized and 2,527 events were intervened, of which 2,193 were notified through 112.
At the same time, 686 crimes were reported, 22% of which were ex officio, and preventive measures were ordered in the case of 15 people.
Also, 13 people were found who were wanted nationally or internationally.
At the same time, for the detected irregularities, the police applied 3,721 contraventional sanctions, in the amount of 1,479,500 lei.
The traffic police carried out activities to increase traffic safety, with 125 violations of the traffic regime on public roads being detected. 307 driving licenses were detained, of which 67 for alcohol, 118 for speed and 5 for drugs, and 129 registration certificates were withdrawn.
