The Infotraffic Center of the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police informs that, at this time, there are no national roads or highways with traffic stopped as a result of unfavorable weather conditions.
Precipitation in the form of rain is reported on several roads in the counties of Bacău, Botoşani, Iasi, Neamţ, Satu Mare and Vaslui, the road is wet and visibility is good. No traffic events are recorded.
In the mountain area of Dâmboviţa county, in the Padina area, icy conditions are reported, with no ongoing road events. They operate machines that spread anti-slip material.
On the main roads in the country, namely the A1 Bucharest-Pitesti, A2 Bucharest-Constanța, A3 Bucharest-Ploiesti, DN 1 Ploiesti-Braşov and DN7 Pitesti-Sibiu highways, traffic is carried on a partially wet road, with good visibility and normal values of traffic.
“Considering that in several areas the traffic is carried out under the conditions of a wet (rainy) road, we recommend drivers to show caution at the wheel, to make sure and signal before changing the direction of travel, but also to increase the distance from safety between vehicles. In addition, drivers must check before setting off on the road that the vehicles have defogging systems in operation, which will ensure good visibility”, informs Infotrafic.
