“Certain measures have negative effects primarily on the economies of developing states,” said Mauricio Vieira.
The Russian Foreign Minister, Sergey Lavrov, thanked Brazil for the support offered to Russia. “Of course we are interested in ending the conflict in Ukraine as soon as possible,” Lavrov said in Brazil, according to the Tass agency and the German publication Die Welt.

Kyiv announced on Tuesday that it invited Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva to pay a visit to Ukraine. “We invite him to Kiev to understand the real reasons for Russian aggression and the consequences for world security,” said the spokesperson of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, quoted by Le Monde newspaper.
