About half of executives admit that their company is not prepared for serious economic disruptions, according to a study by SAS.

Study: Economic turmoil scares CEOs to death
The research showed that although companies around the world have been going through continuous disruptions and facing a lack of predictability for the past three years, “resilience remains a sensitive issue for them”.
“Currently, only 53% of executives admit that their company is not where it should be in this regard,” explained the authors of the study.
Also, 97% of executives believe that resilience is important, but only 47% perceive their own company as resilient.
The research also revealed that approximately one in two executives (46%) admit that they are not prepared to deal with market disruptions and that they have difficulties in tackling issues such as data security (48%), productivity (47%) and improvement technological innovations (46%).
