Elon Musk, the head of Twitter, has threatened to sue Microsoft, accusing the tech giant of using his social media company’s data without permission, according to the BBC.

Musk was reacting to Microsoft’s plan to remove Twitter from its advertising platform.
“They illegally caused the use of Twitter data. Time for a lawsuit,” the billionaire said in a tweet.
He did not provide further details or evidence to support the claim. Microsoft declined to comment on the threat.
The company previously said in an announcement that its advertising platform “will no longer support Twitter” starting Tuesday, April 25. As a result, ad buyers will not be able to access their Twitter accounts through Microsoft.
“Other social media channels, such as Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, will continue to be available,” Microsoft said.
Musk became the owner of Twitter last October.
