The signing of the financing contracts for the new hospital infrastructure, within the PNRR, took place in the Amphitheater of the Integrated Clinical Outpatient Clinic of the Central Military Emergency University Hospital “Dr. Carol Davila” (SUUMC), by the Minister of Health, prof. Dr. Alexandru Rafila and the Minister of National Defense, Angel Tîlvăr.
Alexandru Rafila signed, together with the representatives of the hospitals and local authorities, for the Zerlendi Tuberculosis Diagnostic and Treatment Center, Bucharest – new hospital, the “Marius Nasta” Pneumophthiziology Institute, for the construction of the Pediatric Psychiatry Center within the Clinical Hospital of Psychiatry “Prof . Dr. Alexandru Obregia”, for a municipal polyclinic, specializing in cardiology and oncology, in Constanta – new hospital and for the construction of a new body – Department of maternal and child health, at the “St. Apostle Andrei” Constanta.
The Minister of Defense, Angel Tîlvăr, signed for the Military Emergency Hospital “Dr. Alexandru Augustin” Sibiu – polytrauma pavilion, Military Emergency Hospital “Dr. Ion Jianu” Pitesti – polytrauma pavilion, Military Emergency Clinical Hospital “Dr. Ştefan Odobleja” Craiova – polytrauma wing and “Regina Maria” Military Emergency Hospital Braşov – polytrauma wing.
“It is an important event for all of us, military and civilians alike: the start of health infrastructure construction projects – hospitals and medical pavilions. It represents an investment that the Romanian state makes for the future, using the PNRR. (…) I want to emphasize that the 11 military hospitals in the country offer high-quality medical services not only to the military, but to any citizen, and the statistical data show year after year that the trust of Romanian patients in our military hospitals is very high”, he said Minister Angel Tîlvăr.
The documents signed by Minister Angel Tîlvăr allow the financing of new constructions with almost 400 million lei within the 12th Health Component within the PNRR at 4 military hospitals in the country.
