The turnover in the wholesale trade, excluding the trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles, gross series, in February 2023, compared to the previous month, increased, in nominal terms, as a whole, by 8.7%, due to the increase in the turnover from wholesale trade of raw agricultural products and live animals (+26.8%), specialized wholesale trade of other products (+14.3%), non-specialized wholesale trade (+11.9%), wholesale trade of other machinery, equipment and supplies (+11.2%), wholesale trade of food products, beverages and tobacco (+4.6%), intermediation activities in wholesale trade (+2.4%), wholesale trade of IT and telecommunications equipment (+2.0%) and wholesale trade of consumer goods, other than food (+0.1%).
As an adjusted series, turnover in wholesale trade decreased by 0.8% in February compared to the previous month.
Compared to February 2022, turnover in wholesale trade, excluding trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles, gross series, increased in nominal terms overall by 7.3%, due to increased turnover in: wholesale trade of IT and telecommunications equipment (+32.4%), intermediation activities in wholesale trade (+30.9%), wholesale trade of other machinery, equipment and supplies (+14.5%), wholesale trade of food, beverages and tobacco (+11.0%), wholesale trade of raw agricultural products and live animals (+7.9%), wholesale trade of consumer goods other than food (+ 6.9%) and non-specialized wholesale trade (+6.4%). Specialized wholesale trade of other products decreased by 4.7%.
As an adjusted series, the turnover increased, in nominal terms, overall, by 12.1%.
The turnover in the wholesale trade (except trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles), gross series, in the period 1.01-28.02.2023, compared to the similar period in 2022, registered an increase, in nominal terms, as a whole, by 9, 0%, and as an adjusted series it increased by 14.0%
