“I’m, you know, very familiar with space stuff. And I haven’t seen any evidence to prove the existence of extraterrestrials.” he added.
Musk said it would be a “next level jackpot” if someone found an alien. He added that it would be a quick way to increase the US defense budget, because it should protect the country from a “invasion”.
“So the fastest way to get an increase in the defense budget would be to take out an alien, you know,” he told Carlson. “It could be an invasion. It could arrive at any moment”declares the billionaire quoted by The Hill.
He added that while he has seen no evidence of other sentient life in the universe, he hopes there are more forms of life on other planets.
“I hope they exist and I hope they are peaceful,” he said.
