An Italian journalist, from the daily La Repubblica, was injured following an attack in Ukraine, attributed to the Russian military forces, and the interpreter accompanying him was killed.
“Corrado Zunino, journalist of La Repubblica publication, wounded in the shoulder during a drone attack in Kherson, is in good condition and is being monitored by the Italian Embassy in Kyiv. The Ukrainian Foreign Minister, Dmitri Kuleba, has assured that he will offer cooperation full support of the Ukrainian authorities”, declared, via Twitter, Antonio Tajani, the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister.
The editorial office of the daily La Repubblica announced that the journalist Corrado Zunino was wounded in an attack on the outskirts of the city of Kherson, attributing the incident to Russian snipers.
Bogdan B., the interpreter accompanying the Italian journalist, was killed in the attack.
