We decided in the coalition meeting that this analysis should be carried out at the level of the Ministry of Finance, and when they have all the aggregated data and all the elements are presented, we will discuss it in the coalition. Progressive tax is not discussed. It is about a tax that at this moment has been clarified as well as possible in terms of exceeding the salaries of the state over that of the president. “At this moment, as we discussed, only at the state”, says Nicolae Ciucă.
Asked if an overtaxation of only state revenues would not be unconstitutional, the prime minister states that “any measure must also have legal support”.
