The accident took place on Thursday night, in Năsturelu commune, Teleorman county.
According to the Police, a 25-year-old man from Caransebeş, Caraş-Severin county, was driving a car on DN 5 C, and at one point he hit a cyclist, a 53-year-old man from Nasturelu commune.
“The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result indicating a value of 0.71 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air, for which he was taken to a medical facility for the collection of biological samples in order to accurately establish the alcohol level. In the case, the police are conducting investigations to establish the causes and circumstances in which the road event occurred”, informs IPJ Teleorman.
