“No traffic lights on Valea Oltului during the May 1 mini-holiday. From this afternoon, starting at 17:30, there is traffic in both directions at Boita, on DN7, but the speed restrictions in the construction site area remain in force. The works will resume on Tuesday morning”, announced DRDP Braşov, the institution that administers the road on Valea Oltului.

The police warn that speed restrictions have been maintained in the area.

“Today, April 28, following the on-site verification of traffic conditions on DN7, the road sector under construction from kilometer position 246+700m to 246+900m, it was established that the conditions for simultaneous traffic in both directions are met period 29.04 – 01.05 2023, under the conditions of maintaining a maximum speed limit of 30 km/h. The walking directions are delimited with directional beacons, and the difference in level is signaled by a New Jersey type concrete parapet”, announced the representatives of the Sibiu Police.

Car traffic in Valea Oltului was restricted after more alluvium reached the road.
