A special Russian ship was in the area where the explosions occurred at the Russian-German Nord Stream gas pipeline a few days before the incident, say sources from the Danish Naval Forces, quoted by the German station NDR and the publication Der Spiegel.

According to the cited sources, on September 22, 2022, the Danish Naval Forces observed a Russian ship equipped with submarine intervention equipment off Bornholm Island in the Baltic Sea. The Danish Naval Forces photographed the Russian special vessel SS-750.
The information was confirmed by an official from the Danish Ministry of Defense.
Four days after the sighting of the Russian special vessel, the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines were affected by several explosions. The act of sabotage is being investigated by the authorities in Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
Russia has denied any involvement in the attacks, attributing them to Ukraine, which, according to Moscow, would have received support from the United States and Great Britain. In March, sources within the American secret services quoted by The New York Times newspaper stated that the acts of sabotage were committed by a pro-Ukrainian group. The administration in Kiev and officials from the Ukrainian military services signaled that they had no role in the attacks and that they do not know who committed them.
