The “Răsvan Angheluţă” Museum Complex of Natural Sciences organizes the International Day of Astronomy on Saturday
The activities at the Astronomical Observatory – Planetarium will take place in two stages. Starting at 8:30 p.m., in the Auditorium Hall of the Galaţi museum, there will be a conference with the theme “Comets and meteor currents”. Then, from 10 p.m. until midnight, if the weather is favorable, nocturnal astronomical observations will be made on the Astronomical Observation Terrace.
The entry is free.
“Every year, since 1973, astronomers from all over the world celebrate the International Day of Astronomy, an event that tries to attract the public to this very interesting field and to make astronomy more accessible to all people. Entrance is free to the International Day of Astronomy at the Natural Sciences Museum Complex Răsvan Angheluţă Galati, starting at 20.00, the last visitor entering at 23.00”, announced the representatives of the museum complex in the city of Galati.
