Bucharest, Romania, April 27, 2023 – Lenovo presented the 8th generation Lenovo Legion Pro and Slim laptops at the launch event held at the Nexus Gamers Pub. The new generation of Legion offers gamers more freedom and options than ever before, by improving performance and portability. In addition, the newest series of gaming laptops was presented, called Lenovo LOQ (pronounced “lock”), which comes at an affordable price and offers gamers performance at the highest standards, in an advantageous balance of cost/ performance.

Lenovo Legion Pro 7/7i and Legion Pro 5/5i
Lenovo Legion offers gamers the opportunity to benefit from flexibility and performance through the flagship Legion series. Available with Windows 11, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7/7i and Legion Pro 5/5i laptops come in a configuration with an Intel® Core™ 13th processor or an AMD Ryzen™ 7000 series processor, while also integrating the new NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 40 graphics chips and up to 64GB of DDR5 RAM memory set at 6000MHz. The new generation of the thermal system, Cold Front 5.0, is much more advanced thanks to the integrated Lenovo LA AI chip, which dynamically adjusts thermal performance to maximize framerates and minimize background noise, allowing the Lenovo Legion Pro 7/7i and Legion Pro 5/5i to reach up to 250W TDP, respectively up to 200W TPD.

The Lenovo Legion Slim series aims to give gaming enthusiasts advantages to achieve their gaming goals while pursuing their creative passions. The devices offer mobility and integrate an SD slot, fast battery charging technology, Windows 11, three months of free Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, as well as access to the immersive 3D audio system “Nahimic by SteelSeries” and Lenovo Vantage. The new Lenovo Legion Slim laptops work with the Windows 11 operating system, being equipped with powerful processors, such as: Intel® Core™ i9-13900H up to the 13th generation in the case of the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i model or with the AMD Ryzen™ processor 9 7940HS in the case of the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 model. Both versions include an NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 4070 GPU and can have up to 32GB of DDR5 RAM with a speed of 5600MHz.
New gaming series: Lenovo LOQ
Gaming enthusiasts will enjoy many options with the Lenovo LOQ gaming portfolio, regardless of screen size (15-inch or 16-inch), processor (up to a 13th generation Intel Core processor or AMD Ryzen 7000 Series) and graphics (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop). Lenovo LOQ gaming laptops with NVIDIA GPUs have a MUX switch which allows switching between using the dedicated video card and the integrated video card according to the user’s needs.
