Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky always carries a pistol with him, to be used “in case of emergency”.
Zelensky himself said this in an interview with the Ukrainian TV channel “1+1”.
He said “I can shoot” to the journalist who asked him if he practiced at the range.
“Can you imagine? The president of Ukraine captured by the Russians. It would be a shame, wouldn’t it?”, added enigmatically, Zelenski.
Zelenski was said to have been the target of attacks several times, especially at the beginning of the war, when the Wagner group was allegedly on his trail.
