A 30-year-old man died and seven others were injured in the Victoria Square area of Bodmin. The police were called to the scene by the witnesses of the serious incident.
A 24-year-old local man was detained on suspicion of murder, attempted murder and grievous bodily harm.
“At the moment, we are treating this case as an isolated matter and we are not looking for anyone else,” said detective Ilona Rosson, according to Sky News.
The man is in police custody.
