Asked if he is sure that President Iohannis agrees with his appointment as prime minister, the PSD president said: “It’s a political decision, it always exists… but I don’t think that at this moment the problem is posed like that.”
Also asked about the ministers who will be replaced, Marcel Ciolacu answered: “At this moment we have a protocol and we respect it. The final decision will be taken by the leaders of the coalition and then they will be discussed in the parties. (…) It is not correct to talk about the change of certain ministers a month before, the ministry is no longer functioning. First of all, the whole Government will fall, there will be a new Government”.
