“Avalanche in the swamp from Cailor Ştiol Waterfall, two Polish tourists surprised by the avalanche”, Salvamont Borşa announced on Monday.
According to the mountain rescuers, the first response team from the Ştiol base arrived at the scene and managed to extract the tourists from the avalanche, to whom they are providing first aid.
“One of them was partially buried in the snow, being recovered by the mountain rescuers from Borşa. They gave him the first medical care and began transporting him to the ambulance sent to pick him up and transport him to the hospital”, the Salvamont National Dispatch sent.
The intervention of mountain rescuers from Borşa is ongoing.
