“The position of the PNL is that it excludes any kind of progressive taxation, which is why we are still the party that protects the private environment, private entrepreneurs, employees in the private system, and we do not consider that they should be punished in any way. At the same time, we do not say no to the reduction of some expenses in the public system, which are not justified, but this analysis will have to be done in the Government, by each individual ministry”, says Alina Gorghiu.
She states that the budget reduction proposals from the ministries and institutions have been submitted and that they will be centralized.
“We will see what their impact is, because when you develop the legislative framework, the impact is also evaluated. Depending on the impact, we will see if these measures have the results the government hopes for. I am convinced that they will find those measures that will not in any way affect the government activity, that will not affect in any way the employees of the private sector or the employees of the public system, at the salary level, because the problem does not arise in these terms, but the spending of public money must be made more efficient”, concludes Gorghiu.
