The US authorities will waive the rule regarding the proof of anti-COVID vaccination upon arrival in the country. The document is required of travelers arriving in the US by plane, ship or land, according to the BBC.
International travelers will no longer have to present proof of vaccination upon arrival in the US, the White House announced.
Americans will cancel this obligation on May 11, which coincides with the end of the public health emergency caused by the coronavirus in the US.
Also, the document will no longer be required for travelers from outside the US who enter the country through land and sea points.
The US is one of the few countries where such travel restrictions still exist.
