The British authorities arrested a suspicious individual, on Tuesday evening, in front of Buckingham Palace and carried out a controlled explosion of ammunition, say sources within the intervention services quoted by BBC News.

A suspicious individual was spotted near Buckingham Palace and was immobilized and arrested after throwing gun cartridges into the courtyard of the royal complex. The ammunition was destroyed by a controlled explosion.
London’s Metropolitan Police, Scotland Yard, announced that the incident is not considered a terrorist incident and that no one was injured. According to some sources within the commission of inquiry, the suspect would have mental problems.
The incident took place in the context of preparations for the coronation ceremony of King Charles, who was not in Buckingham Palace at the time of the incident.
