The Emergency Service 112 Bucharest was alerted, on the night of Wednesday to Thursday, regarding the fact that there was an explosive device in the IR79 train traveling the route Lokoshaza (Hungary) – Bucharest.

According to the Timiş Police, on Wednesday night, at around 10:50 p.m., the Bucharest Emergency Service 112 was alerted to the fact that there was an explosive device on the IR79 train traveling the Lokoshaza (Hungary)-Bucharest route.
The call was forwarded to the policemen from Lugoj who urgently went to the Lugoj Railway Station to secure the area and take the necessary measures.
At the same time, the train was stopped by the policemen of the Railway Transport Station in Lugoj.
Following the checks carried out by the Pyrotechnic Group within the Timiş Special Actions Service, it was determined that the call was not confirmed.
The train was set in motion at 00:45.
The police officers from Bucharest are carrying out checks in order to find the caller and take the necessary legal measures.
